Commissioners Office

The Waldo County Commissioners are the County’s chief elected officials and are ultimately responsible for the fiscal operations and policy decisions affecting the County of Waldo’s government. They are also responsible for preparing and monitoring the County budget (although the final decision of the budget is performed by a Budget Committee process), the County’s tax assessment, and various appeals and hearings.

Regular court sessions are generally scheduled the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. At times regular court sessions are rescheduled. Sessions in blue font are regular sessions that are scheduled on a different day or time than usual. Special court sessions may be scheduled in addition to the regular sessions. Special sessions that are scheduled with advance notice will be added to this list before they occur. Those scheduled on short notice will be added to this list as soon as practicable in red font.

**ALL COURT SESSIONS ARE ALSO ACCESSIBLE VIA ZOOM TELECONFERENCING. (Please check agendas for any instructions regarding masks and social distancing.)

Each Commissioner is elected by the voters from within their respective district. The County of Waldo has three districts and each Commissioner serves a term of four years.
