The County of Waldo’s Treasurer is the official who maintains the County’s financial records. The Treasurer is responsible for bill payment, collection of fees owed the County, borrowing, investment and other matters related to the County’s finances.
The Treasurer is an elected official who works part-time hours. The Treasurer appoints, with the approval of the County Commissioners, a full-time Deputy Treasurer to oversee the day to day transactions.
Payroll matters are handled by the Human Resources Director in the County Commissioners’ Office.
